PROJECT 2
This project is an example of architectural restoration. A local company was restoring an aircraft hangar and wanted to return the 60 year old single pane window frames to their original condition. They were rusted with many layers of calking and sealer applied over the years to stop leakage. We used the Dustless Blasting® process to strip the frames to bare steel. The frames were then cleaned and welded closed prior to finishing. Finishing included the application of two coats of epoxy primer and two coats of a specialty rust resistant metallic silver paint.
